Review Panasonic EW-DJ10-A
In our research, it was also the only water flosser that is powered by removable batteries (2 AA Batteries). Most other portable water flossers are recharged through adapters; and while this has its own advantages, it also means that international travelers will often have to worry about finding a proper voltage or plug adapter.
When you are done, the tip can be removed and stored in a side compartment of the handle – which in turn can be collapsed into the water reservoir. Storing the tip and collapsing the handle reduces the size of the unit down to about 5.625 x 2.7 x 2 from an “in-use” size of 8.6 x 2.7 x 2.
Panasonic does not list how strong the PSI is on the Panasoic EW-DJ10-A. However, user reviews often comment to commend its strength. In a side by side comparison between the Pansonic EW-DJ10-A and the Waterpik Ultra, which has a listed PSI range of 5-90 PSI, we found that the high setting on the EW-DJ10-A corresponds to about an “8” on the Ultra.
This comes out to be around 73 PSI. The low setting corresponds to about a “3” on the Ultra, which translates to be about 31 PSI. These values should be considered only as an estimate; the actual strength of the EW-DJ10-A will most likely vary with the condition and type of the battery being used.
