This type of braces is most popular and used by hundreds and thousands of people. It is made up of metal, stainless steel and sometimes titanium. Basically, there are metal brackets and rubber bands, they fix these metal braces in this rubber bands and then stick these to your teeth.

Then they take a long metal wire and connect all the metal brackets and tighten this wire as time passes and in this way as time passes your teeth will start going inside or start becoming straight.

This type of braces basically cost around £3000-£4500 from an experienced dentist.

Ceramic Braces

This type of braces work on the same principle as the metal braces, but the main difference is the material used for the brackets. This kind of luxury comes with a high price too, they usually cost around £3000-$4500.

The primary purpose of using ceramic is just make the braces less visible. It works great, when you see a person who have applied this braces in the first time you wouldn’t be able to recognize the braces, the brackets and wires just blends themselves with the teeth color.

These are the most advanced and high-tech kind of braces. This type of braces don’t use the years old technique and they invented the new technique. Here they no more use the metal brackets and wires, instead they will develop a mould based on your teeth structure.

They will create a new mould every 2-3 week which will be less wide compared to your previous one. In this way, you will get your teeth in the way you want at the end of your treatment.

This kind of braces are the latest trend and less pain is involved throughout the procedure. These cost around $3500-$6000.

Lingual Braces

These are the most expensive braces you can find. The whole idea is to change the placement of braces, instead of placing the braces on the front side of you teeth here the braces are placed on the flip side of your teeth. It is also called as incognito braces.

The braces here are not visible at all, so they are mostly recommended for actors, standup comedian, etc. kind of people where their face needs to look great. But for a layman it’s just an expensive piece of shit which is even more painful than the traditional one’s.

As this requires so much time and hard work to place to braces inside the teeth, its pretty expensive and it costs around $8000-$10,000. I have to admit it that its just for a group of people and for a layman its not that useful.

Bonus Tip: If you have braces, then use an electric toothbrush – It will just make your life a lot easier.
